Joseph "Joe" L. Derbeck

Joseph “Joe” L. Derbeck, 61, of Ida, MI, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017, in his home.  Born, July 15, 1956, in Luna Pier, MI, he was the son of Joseph and Doris ( Miller ) Derbeck.  Joe, with his partner, Desiree Bevilacqua owned and operator the Main Street Tile and Wood in Ottawa Lake, MI for the past 13 years.  Prior, he was the best flooring contractor around, doing custom hardwood floors and custom tile jobs, stone and glass installation.   Joe loved racing and spent 30 years racing at Oakshade Raceway, receiving several trophies throughout the years.

He is survived by his significant other and the love of his life, Desiree Bevilacqua; mother, Doris Derbeck; father, Joseph (Joyce) Derbeck; sister, Pattie Derbeck; brother, Chuck Derbeck; step-sister, Tina (Don) DuBry.

Visitation will be from 4-9 pm, Friday, November 24, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 25, 2017.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
